Dr. John Tomasheski

Dr. John Tomasheski is a native of New Jersey and graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a minor in Philosophy. He was captain of the tennis team and an Academic All-American 3 consecutive seasons and the conferences scholar athlete of the year his senior year. He was inducted into Virginia Wesleyan’s athletic hall of fame in 2012.

Dr. Tomasheski earned his DDS degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, graduating with honors in 2007. After graduation, he then completed a one year residency at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill Hospitals. The residency rotated Dr. Tomasheski between UNC Hospitals, Durham VA Hospital, and Orange County Health Department with an emphasis on medically compromised patient care, operating room treatment, and obturator fabrication for head/neck cancer patients.

Upon completion, Dr. Tomasheski moved to Philadelphia and worked for 1 year as an associate dentist. He then returned to North Carolina and has worked as an associate dentist in Wake and Johnston County for the last decade. Dr. Tomasheski enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially education, comprehensive care, and building relationships.

Dr. Tomasheski lives in Apex with his wife Dr. Kimberly Tomasheski, DDS. They have 3 children, Emma, Chase, and Noah. He enjoys spending time with his family, church, tennis, grilling, gardening, running, and Y-guides.
