Dr. Lida Swann DDS MS received her DDS from Colegio Universitario Colombiano and her Master’s Degree in Prosthodontics from the University of North Carolina. She also completed the UNC Dental Implant Fellowship focusing on implant research and applications of digital technology on implant placement and restorative procedures.
She is a prosthodontist specialist. Dr. Swann's unique knowledge and skill set allows her to deliver comprehensive solutions. She recognizes that everyone is different and needs an approach tailored to their unique needs. For those who have a deep-rooted fear and anxiety around dental procedures, she will provide sedation dentistry.
Her educational focus is on proper tooth preparation and tissue management for CAD/CAM restorations as well as, materials science with regard to cementation and restorative materials options.
Dr. Swann lectures nationally and internationally on CAD/CAM technology and other topics related to restorative dentistry. She has presented lectures for several dental associations, including the American Prosthodontic Society and The American College of Prosthodontics.
