Dr. Ramundo completed her dental school education at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia.
While there, she became fascinated with the effect gum health can have on patients’ overall health and happiness. Due to this blooming interest, she continued her education at VCU in their periodontics residency program.
During residency, she enjoyed helping many patients pursue greater health and improving smiles. Seeing the impact she can have working with her patients to reach their goals and improve quality of life through their health and smiles has created a lot of fulfillment.
This fulfillment through patient happiness is what motivates her to provide the best care for her patients.
Her training includes treating gum disease, recession on teeth, and implant procedures!
Dr. Ramundo has a particular interest in developing implant sites to create ideal hard and soft tissue contours and emergence profiles around implants.
Dr. Ramundo enjoys taking time in the mountains to hike with her dog, Saint. Her current top three favorite hikes include Alum Cave to Mount LeConte in TN, Black Balsam, and Crabtree Falls in NC.
Her other hobbies include spending time with her family and baking. She has an excellent recipe for home baked cinnamon rolls that she is currently working on perfecting.
