Periodontal therapy is an umbrella term for a variety of treatments that can be used to restore the health of your teeth and gums and prevent tooth loss.
There are both surgical and non-surgical treatments for gum disease, and the best option for you will depend upon your individual case.
However, generally speaking, the least invasive procedures are preferred whenever possible.
Totally recommend. I've been seeing Dr. Dorion for several challenging periodontics needs and just started seeing Dr. Tomasheski for general dentistry in the same office (which is a plus). I am very happy to have found this practice. They are excellent, experienced doctors, terrific at explaining what's needed and why with the pluses and minuses of alternatives, and are sensitive to costs. The professional staff have always been excellent too (my hygienist is great!), and office staff have always been kind, helpful and accurate with insurance and logistics. I have confidence in the skill and integrity of this office, and the people really care!
Quick appointment scheduling. Very welcoming and cordial. User friendly on line forms to fill out. Handy appointment reminders. Easy to locate. Excellent and experienced professional staff. Great coordination with regular dentist's office. Sensitive to financial and insurance concerns. Thorough examination. Straightforward diagnosis and treatment planning, including options available. Compassionate and understanding in the face of overwhelming prognosis. Timely scheduling to put treatment plan in place.
Simply the Best. Great service. The doctor was extremely courteous, pays attention to details and is very straight forward and knowledgeable. My gums have never felt better ever since I did the LANAP, which is an almost 4 hour procedure. I would recommend them anytime. Prices are very reasonable.
